The short version

One diagnosis, not a checklist

Every audit answers three questions in order: what is broken, why, and which fix pays back the fastest. Findings sit under four pillars.

01

Technical

Can Google crawl and render the site.

02

On-page

Does each page answer its target query.

03

Off-page

Do other sites link to and cite you.

04

Content

Does the site cover its topic completely.

Local SEO joins as a fifth pillar for businesses ranking in a specific geography.

80%

of lost traffic traces back to 20% of issues, usually indexation problems, cannibalisation and slow Core Web Vitals. The full audit isolates that fraction first.

What the free tools catch, and what they miss

  • Ahrefs & Semrush100+ technical checks, backlinks and keyword tracking
  • Screaming FrogThe standard desktop crawler, free up to 500 URLs
  • Google Search ConsoleThe only source of your real query and indexation data, free
  • Moz, SEOptimer, SeobilityInstant graded on-page scores from a single URL
  • ChatGPTReviews copy and drafts tags, but cannot crawl your site or read Search Console

None of them tell you which of 40 flagged issues is actually costing you money. That prioritisation is the paid tier.

Who the full audit is for

You already know traffic is down or flat. You need to know why, in order of importance.

Book it if

  • Your site has real content and history, and rankings dropped or plateaued.
  • You run ecommerce, a publisher, a marketplace or a multi-location business with more URLs than anyone has mapped.
  • Your dev team will ship fixes but nobody can tell them which fixes, in which order.
  • Your agency sends a monthly report and you still cannot answer "what is actually wrong".

Start free if

  • Your site is small and you want a first read before committing budget.
  • You suspect something basic is broken and want it confirmed.
  • You want to see how I work before paying.

How it works

Four phases end to end. The free tier only needs the first.

  1. 1

    You send the form

Domain, main problem, chosen tier. Takes two minutes. Free tier: the audit lands in your inbox within 3 working days and that is the whole process.

  2. 2

    Invoice and access

Full audit only. Pay by card or bank transfer, 100% upfront, after I confirm your site is a fit. You add me as a read-only viewer in Search Console. I never need CMS or server access.

  3. 3

    I audit

Full crawl, a log of what Google is doing versus what you think it is doing, architecture and content analysis. 15 working days from access, not from payment.

  4. 4

    Delivery and walkthrough

Document, fix sheet, recorded walkthrough, live call. Then you fix it in-house, hand it to your agency, or ask me to quote the execution. No obligation either way.

Track record

Audits are where every result I have shipped started.

0 → 3M Monthly organic users at VisaGuide.World, built on a programmatic content engine that started as an audit finding.
9,100 Referring domains earned at VisaGuide.World (DR 75). Earned by content architecture, not bought.
2x Organic traffic across an automotive marketplace with millions of URLs, by rebuilding crawl and indexation infrastructure.
11+ Years across travel, ecommerce, marketplaces, SaaS and local. In-house and agency-side, US, UK and EU clients.

Questions people actually ask

The fine print, minus the fine print.

How accurate is the free tier?

It catches crawl errors, indexation misfires and obvious duplication. It cannot tell you why they happen or which one is costing you money. That diagnosis is the paid tier.

Why trust a paid audit over a free agency one?

A free agency audit is a sales document built to sell a retainer, so it finds whatever supports that. The full audit gets paid whether or not you hire me again, so it has no reason to inflate or spin anything.

What access do you need?

Free tier: none, just your URL. Full audit: read-only viewer access to Google Search Console. Analytics access helps but is optional. I never need CMS logins, FTP or server access.

My site is huge. Does the price change?

The flat $997 covers sites up to roughly 100,000 indexable URLs, which is most businesses. Genuinely massive sites need a scoped quote, say so in the form and I will price it straight.

Do I have to hire you to implement the fixes?

No. Your team executes the fix sheet, your existing agency executes it, or I quote the execution as a separate engagement. The audit is complete on its own.

What if you find nothing worth fixing?

I tell you, and refund you before delivery. Has not happened yet. Sites with no findings do not go looking for audits.

Can ChatGPT do an SEO audit?

Partially. It can review copy against a target query, draft title tags and meta descriptions, and explain a flagged error. It cannot crawl your site, read your Search Console data, or verify what Googlebot actually indexed, so it produces recommendations without the evidence to prioritise them.

How do I pay for the full audit?

Invoice after I confirm the fit. Card payment via a secure link, or bank transfer if your finance team prefers invoices. 100% upfront, work starts when access lands.

Request your audit

One form for both tiers.

I reply within one working day. If your site is not a fit, I say so and point you somewhere useful instead.

Which audit?

No newsletter. No sequence. Your details go to exactly one inbox.
